Hi, I am Chang Lee, a Full Stack Web Developer. Growing up, I have always had a passion for crafting and building projects. This journey began with simple materials like paper to legos and eventually evolved to embrace the technologies of the real world via the Arduino. However, the path to continue this journey often required me to devise strategies for saving money to afford future projects.

This dynamic shifted completely after my introduction to Scratch at a camp hosted by MIT. There, I discovered the boundless potential of projects I could bring to reality without the constraint of financial resources. Ever since that pivotal moment, my journey of innovation has continued and I still enjoy building meaningful products that help benefit society till this day.

Contributed on an application, used by all Commonwealth of Virginia school districts, that identifies struggling children, raises flags/awareness for teachers and the district, and classifies the most appropriate type of intervention. Engineered user authentication via AWS Lambda Functions using Node.js and analyzed student data by creating ETL Jobs using Python to interact with MS SQL database. Designed and built the front-end with HTML, CSS, JS, and Tableau. Assisted hosting production AWS EC2 instances and aided with the architecture.

Developed a full-stack application that analyzes uploaded student data. Crafted the front-end using React and engineered the back-end via a REST API in Flask. Implemented authentication with JWT and connected the database via SQLAlchemy and MySQL.

Also contributed to a Department of Education Project, used by all Commonwealth of Virginia school districts, that displays student data statistics, analysis, and charts for high-level stakeholders at the Department of Education in Virginia. Configured SQL database with MS SQL, enabled API connections, analyzed data with Python, and helped setup developmental AWS EC2 instances.
